# Send a CWIP plan for approval.

> Send a CWIP plan for approval. Needs finance.capex_cwip_plan.edit.

It must be planned first: refused with CWIP_PLAN_INCOMPLETE, naming the columns in detail.missing and their labels in detail.labels, while the fiscal calendar, the estimated capitalization date, the asset class, the estimated capitalization value, the depreciation rate the class gives, or a field your organisation insists on in the Form Studio, is empty (see plan_needs on capex_cwip_plans). Refused with CWIP_ASSET_NOT_UPLOADED once the latest CWIP upload no longer has the asset, and with CWIP_PLAN_DATE_PASSED while the estimated capitalization date is not after today. It is raised in your name. APPROVAL_REQUIRED in error_code means it is waiting on its approvers; when the last level approves, plan_status is APPROVED, and a rejection at any level makes it REJECTED. Where no workflow applies it is approved at once. Refused with CWIP_PLAN_DECIDED once it is approved or rejected, and ALREADY_SUBMITTED while it is with its approvers.
