# What a vendor supplies — their part number, price, lead time and minimum order, with what we
> hold of each.
The same rows api.part_suppliers serves, read from the vendor rather than the part. `is_active` is
the supply arrangement's, `part_is_active` the part's: a live vendor link to a retired part is
worth seeing rather than hiding.
