Asset components

The fitted register with the assembly drawn on it: the row each component hangs off, how far

down it sits, and the machine it belongs to.

One row per record, like the register it reads. Nest by parent_component_id — depth cannot say what to nest under. A removed row is reported and not descended into, because what came off a sub-assembly that has itself come off is fitted to nothing here.

For one asset’s assembly use api.asset_components_under. WITH RECURSIVE is an optimisation fence, so filtering this view by root_asset_id walks every tree in the tenant before discarding all but one — 32ms against 3.2ms, measured on twenty thousand component rows.
