Every connection discovery has drawn between two devices, current and ended: two network
elements that announced themselves to each other (kind NEIGHBOUR, from LLDP or CDP), or a device on a switch’s edge port (kind ENDPOINT, from the switch’s forwarding table), with the port on each end where it is known, when it was first and last seen, and when it ended. A current link between two devices that are both assets is also a “connected to” relationship between the assets.
