Add a lot to a capex proposal's capitalization plan, or change one (p_id, which must be a lot of that plan).
Add a lot to a capex proposal’s capitalization plan, or change one (p_id, which must be a lot of that plan). Needs finance.capex_capitalization.edit, or the plan to be waiting on you in its approval.
p_capitalization_date, p_capitalization_value (more than zero), p_asset_block_id and p_asset_block_value (zero or more) are required; amounts are at most 9,999,999,999. p_asset_block_id is a value of your organisation’s Asset Block Master list (see capex_capitalization_blocks). p_tnc_asset_type_id, a value of its TNC Asset Type Master list (see capex_tnc_asset_types), may be given only for a Plant and Machinery block, and is refused for any other. A block or TNC asset type no longer offered is kept on a lot that already names it and refused for one that does not.
Where your organisation saves every lot on the 1st of its month (first_of_month on capex_capitalization_plans, turned on in the Form Studio), the lot is saved on the 1st of the month of p_capitalization_date, whatever day it names. The depreciation counts the month of capitalization whole either way, so its figures are the same.
The lot’s depreciation rate and shift factor are not sent. Both are written when the lot is put in a block — a new lot, or one moved to another block — and kept while it stays there: the rate is the block’s, and the shift factor the number in the custom field named Shift Factor on the proposal’s location for Plant and Machinery (1 where the location has none) and 1 for every other block. A lot whose block had no rate takes the one it has been given since at its next save. Refused with CAPITALIZATION_DECIDED or CAPITALIZATION_WITH_APPROVERS as save_capex_capitalization_plan is. Returns the lot’s id.
