The capitalization plan: one row for each approved capex proposal, made when it was approved, saying when its money becomes assets.
What the proposal decided is read off it and cannot be changed here: fiscal_calendar_name (with fiscal_year, fiscal_year_start_month and fiscal_year_starts_on, the first day of the planned year), scheme_code (the Request ID), the unit and location, category_master_id and budget_category_id (the Category and Sub-Category), the project co-ordinator, item_description, priority (the Item Type: VITAL, ESSENTIAL or DESIRABLE), investment_type (NEW or CARRY_FORWARD) and carried_from_line_id (the Reference ID). proposal_status is the proposal’s own: APPROVED_FOR_PLAN until its consolidated planning is approved, PLAN_APPROVED, or rejected, PLAN_REJECTED.
proposal_display_status is the proposal’s status as the Capitalization Plan screen shows it: APPROVED_FOR_CAPITALIZATION from the moment the plan is made until its capitalization is decided, then CAPITALIZATION_APPROVED or CAPITALIZATION_REJECTED. It is PLAN_REJECTED whenever the proposal’s capex plan was rejected, because a proposal that will not be spent is not capitalized.
budget_amount is the budget including GST: typed here for a NEW proposal, and for a CARRY_FORWARD the proposal’s approved carryover from the previous year, which is not changed here. ctc_amount (the CTC including GST) starts as the budget and gst_credit_amount (the GST credit) is given by a planner. total_capitalization_value is ctc_amount less gst_credit_amount.
line_count is how many lots it is capitalized in (see capex_capitalization_lines), capitalized_total what their capitalization values add up to, capitalization_remaining what is left of the total capitalization value, and capitalization_balanced whether the two are equal, which the plan must be before it can be approved. depreciation_py1_total adds up the lots’ depreciation in the planned year. location_shift_factor is the shift factor a Plant and Machinery lot here takes: the number in the custom field named Shift Factor on the proposal’s location, or 1. first_of_month says whether your organisation saves every lot on the 1st of the month of the date given for it, which an administrator turns on in the Form Studio; it is false until they do.
The capitalization is approved in a workflow of its own. A plan goes to its first level by itself when its proposal is approved, and its approvers plan it while it waits on them; where no workflow holds it, it stays here for your organisation’s planners to plan and send with api.submit_capex_capitalization_plan. capitalization_status is OPEN until it is decided, APPROVED when the last level approves it (or at once when sent with no workflow to ask), and REJECTED when a level rejects it, which is final, with capitalization_status_reason what was said. The proposal’s own status is not changed by any of it.
request_id and request_display_status are the capitalization’s own approval request, the open one where there is one; last_approved_by_name and last_approved_at who last approved a level of it, and when. capitalization_needs lists, in the sheet’s words, what the plan still needs before it can be approved or sent: the budget of a NEW proposal, the CTC, the GST credit, at least one lot, a depreciation rate for every lot’s block, and the lots adding up to the total capitalization value; it is empty when nothing. may_edit says whether you may change the plan and its lots now: while it is with its approvers only the approver it waits on may, and otherwise anybody holding finance.capex_capitalization.edit, until it is decided or the proposal’s capex plan is rejected. may_send says whether you may send it for approval.
You see every plan if you may view the capitalization plan. Without that, you see a plan only while a step of its approval is waiting on you under your own authority.
